How many hours are required for a direct TCI refresher for staff?
Implementation of the TCI System recommends regular refresher training to support staff in applying the skills and knowledge gained through training.
Both TCI7 and TCI for Schools recommend regular refreshers for staff are a minimum six hours every six months with an annual re-testing in knowledge and six-monthly retesting in any physical interventions.
Best practice recommends quarterly refreshers for three hours in length for staff whenever possible.
